This will be the third time that ICT has undertaken 
this coast to coast adventure which traverses 
diagonally across the fascinating island of Sri Lanka: 
from the hot and humid plains of Colombo, up to the 
welcome coolness of the central highlands around 
Kandy to the historic port of Trincomalee. This is a 
challenging trip and not for the faint-hearted, but the 
stunning scenery, friendly people and rare insight
 into rural Sri Lankan life will not disappoint. Our 
final destination of Nilaveli, outside Trincomalee, 
offers clear blue waters and world-class snorkeling 
- very welcome after our humid six-day ride.
